Preface
Orycho (Orychophragmus Violaceus) is a plant with liverprotecting effect, which was excavated when we studied toxicological antidotes of hundreds of natural plants. After more than seventeen years systematic research, the mystery of orycho has been unveiled to a certain extent, which allows the society to share our original scientific research achievements and contributes to human health promotion.
The organization of this book is basically derived from our practice. We planted orycho on campus, and studied the safety and usefulness of orycho and the monomer of the active ingredients. The process of completing this book is also a process of training graduate students and extensive cooperation. In order to facilitate the readers, this book is wellillustrated, bilingual in both Chinese and English, so as to make it easy to understand.
The book is funded by the National Key R&D Program (2018YFC1706800). In the process of writing this book, we received strong support from all the authors, and kind assistance from the publishing house. Thanks here!
Our research on orycho is still ongoing. Due to the limited level, mistakes are inevitable in the book. I sincerely hope that readers will kindly give us advice so as to improve this book when it is reprinted.
