儒勒加布里埃尔凡尔纳(Jules Gabriel Verne),19世纪法国科幻小说家,被誉为科幻小说之父。他最初学法律,1863年出版了其第一部小说《气球上的五星期》,获得成功,从此一发不可收拾。凡尔纳总共创作了六十多部长篇小说和几个短篇小说集,还有几十个剧本。主要作品有《海底两万里》、《八十天环游地球》、《从地球到月球》、《神秘岛》、《格兰特船长的儿女》、《地心游记》等。
